Before we conclude we would like to pay homage to both Late Kamaluddin Ahmed and Late Anwarul Azam Choudhury for their contribution in the establishment of the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Microbiology in Dhaka University. Without their sacrifice and dedication these two Departments would not have attained the present level of excellence. On a global scenario, they were not great research scholars but the foundation they laid down through their relentless effort against all odds was instrumental in producing a host of brilliant biotech scholars who are now serving in well-known laboratories throughout the globe bringing reputation to Bangladesh. May their souls rest in peace.
