"I am very pleased to know that a website on Global Network of Bangladeshi Biotechnologists is being developed.  When fully functional, I am sure this site could be a major forum for Bangladeshi Biotechnologists and other interested parties to discuss and exchange ideas of mutual interest.  I am exited to be a participant of this forum and I encourage other Bangladeshi Biotechnologists to participate in its activity.

Message from Dr. Haseena Khan Ph.D. ,
Professor and Chairperson, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology,
University of Dhaka
" Biotechnology in Bangladesh is at its infancy. However we need to make quantum leaps to be at par with the rest of the world otherwise we will be unable to address the endless challenges our country is facing today. Even our neighbouring countries are judiciously harnessing the benefits of Biotechnology.
In order to make the necessary quantum leaps we need to have a directory and a web address of the Bangladeshi biotechnologists so that we can know each others strength and complement each other in using biotechnology for the benefit of Bangladesh.
I congratulate Professor Ahmad S. Islam and Dr. Abidur Rahman for their courage in undertaking such a daunting task when I can attest it is so difficult to get responses from the concerned individuals. I wish they do not loose their patience. Wishing GNOBB all the best."
